Is it actually free during beta? What's the catch?
Free means free. No credit card, no trial expiry, no feature gating. Every feature works. The catch: we're still polishing. You'll find a bug or two. We ship fixes daily. In exchange, you lock in founder pricing forever — when we exit beta, your account stays at the early-user rate.
How is this different from MyFitnessPal, Strong, Hevy, or Fitbod?
Most of those are single-purpose: MyFitnessPal logs calories, Strong logs lifts, Fitbod auto-generates a workout. THE SYSTEM is the engine underneath all of them — 344 exercises with form GIFs, 864 pre-built training plans, 350 nutrition plans, calendar-aware schedules, recovery scoring, coach roster tools, and 91 API endpoints holding it all together. One app instead of four.
Is this a real app or a website?
Both. It's a Progressive Web App — install it to your iPhone or Android home screen and it looks and feels native (offline support, push notifications, no Safari bar). Or use it in any browser. No App Store, no Play Store, no 30% Apple tax. iOS native wrapper available for trainers who need it.
I'm a personal trainer. How does the partner program actually work?
You email partners@thesystem.health, we set you up with Coach Mode, your branding, your subdomain, and Stripe Connect direct to your bank. Your clients sign up under your referral code and become your roster. They pay you whatever you charge — 100% lands in your account. No transaction fees, no platform tax. We charge a flat trainer fee (low — exact number locks in when we exit beta). That's it. First 25 trainers lock in founder pricing forever.
Where is my data stored? Is it secure?
Your account, workouts, measurements, PRs, and check-ins live on encrypted Railway servers (US-region, isolated volume). Passwords are scrypt-hashed. Sessions are short-lived tokens. We don't sell data — there's nothing to sell, and the trust is more valuable than the marketing dollar. Full data export to CSV is one click from settings.
Why should I trust a beta product with my training history?
Fair question. Three answers: (1) Every action you take has an undo + a CSV export. (2) We back up the database every 6 hours. (3) You can email the founder directly and get a reply within a day. If we lose your data we lose the business — incentives are aligned.
Can I import my data from another app?
CSV import is on the immediate roadmap (Strong, Hevy, MyFitnessPal). Email us your file and we'll get it in manually during beta while we ship the importer.
What if I want a feature you don't have yet?
Every tab has a "Report Problem / Request Feature" button. We ship features in days, not quarters — that's the upside of being beta. Founder partners get priority.
